Life After: Chernobyl

Synopsis

Rob Nelson, a biologist, and Mary-Ann Ochota, an anthropologist, enter the Chernobyl exclusion zone thirty years after the 1986 nuclear disaster. They are the first scientists to receive unrestricted access to this highly contaminated area. Their research focuses on the long-term effects of radiation on local ecosystems and wildlife. Findings reveal significant adaptations within these environments, challenging previous assumptions about the consequences of radiation exposure.
