Laura, a 16-year-old girl with mental and physical disabilities, faces a traumatic ordeal in Argentina. After being raped by her uncle in 2006, her mother, Vicenta, secures a legal abortion for her. However, the procedure meets fierce opposition from lawyers and doctors.
