Synopsis
Elsa, the 87-year-old director of the 40/90 Ballet, leads a diverse group of nearly 60 women in February as they begin eight months of rehearsals. The ensemble includes housewives, teachers, and merchants, ranging in age from 47 to 81. Most have no prior dance experience. Elsa is responsible for creating choreographies, adapting music, and designing costumes and lighting. The documentary captures their dedication and the challenges they face in preparation for their performances.
