Synopsis
Margarida Senhorinha, a 69-year-old woman, lives in Cacém, Portugal. She has spent forty years in her home, surrounded by a garden and high-rise buildings. Senhorinha, who cannot read or write, uses a tape recorder to document her poems, songs, and birthday memories. As urban development threatens her residence, she faces the possibility of losing her home to a new tower block. She asks, “and now where do I go?” as her future hangs in the balance.
