Sergey and Eduard, two cousins from Ukraine, live in a converted garage on the outskirts of Lisbon, Portugal. They work as construction laborers alongside three other Ukrainian immigrants. Their living conditions are stark, yet they grapple with deep feelings of nostalgia and longing for home. As their voluntary exile nears its end, they face the decision of whether to extend their stay. The film follows their return to Ukraine, capturing their initial days back in their homeland.
