Synopsis
Mária Gánóczy, born in 1927, reflects on her life as an artist and mother in Hungary. She comes from a family of female artists, including her great-grandparents. Gánóczy dedicated her career to portraying the complex history of Central Europe through her paintings and films. She raised nine children with her husband, József Breznay, who lived from 1916 to 2012. The documentary presents her experiences in art and family against the backdrop of the region's troubled past.
