Nine years later, the film shifts to black-and-white imagery, marking the end of Maria's life. The documentary reflects on the contrasting experiences of joy and hardship faced by peasant communities. Directed by Sergey Debizhev, "Maria" runs for 40 minutes and was produced in the Soviet Union.
