Synopsis

Maria, an 82-year-old woman, lives with her blind son Sashko in a remote province of Ukraine. Sashko lost his sight due to a serious illness and worries about his mother's declining health. As Maria struggles to care for them both, she buys a calf, representing a glimmer of hope. Meanwhile, Sashko begins to build a tractor, demonstrating his determination to contribute despite his blindness. Their story unfolds against the backdrop of their challenging existence, revealing the deep bond between mother and son.
