Synopsis

A 16-year-old girl stands at the Polish-Belarusian border after her mother’s death. Left to care for her four younger brothers, she faces daily struggles as a young caregiver in a foreign country. “Silent Trees” follows her efforts to provide for her siblings while dealing with her own grief. The film addresses the challenges faced by families affected by migration amid an ongoing humanitarian crisis. Directed by Agnieszka Zwiefka, it runs for 84 minutes.
