Synopsis

Maria Fedorivna recalls her life in Transcarpathia, where at 15, she married into a second village due to the eviction of kulaks by Russian forces. Her family's home, once the largest in the village and built from migrant workers' earnings, was destroyed, and her brother was sentenced to seven years in prison. The film also addresses the aftermath of the 2015 earthquake in Okruha, during which Maria was hospitalized. Her relatives repaired their home to ease her return.
