Synopsis

Davi Kopenawa, a leader of the Yanomami people in Brazil, warns that the loss of shamans and their dances threatens the rainforest's balance. For over 40 years, Kopenawa has fought against gold miners who pollute rivers and destroy the forest. As temperatures rise and shamans die, he urges Westerners to understand that the collapse of the sky will impact everyone, not just the Yanomami. The film presents their cultural wisdom and the urgent environmental crisis they face.
