Synopsis

Otobo, a leader of the Waorani people, confronts the encroachment of oil companies in Yasuni National Park, Ecuador. Filmmaker Ryan Patrick Killackey captures the Amazon's rich biodiversity while documenting the human rights violations faced by the Waorani community. As corporate and government interests threaten their ancestral land, the Waorani fight to preserve their cultural heritage. The film runs for 94 minutes and features dialogue in English and Spanish.
