Synopsis

Gerard Burand de Rosier journeys into the Amazon rainforest, specifically to the border of Ecuador and Peru, to meet the Huaorani people. He participates in traditional practices, including hunting crocodiles with his bare hands and collecting honey from aggressive bees. The film documents his attempts to master tasks that test his physical limits, such as confronting dangerous wildlife and learning shamanic rites. Burand de Rosier’s experiences unfold in the dense and biodiverse habitat of the Huaorani, a warrior clan living in a reserve spanning 250,000 hectares.
