Synopsis

Peyangki, an eight-year-old monk, lives in the remote village of Laya, Bhutan, high in the Himalayas. As the village prepares for the arrival of electricity, his life is set to change. The first television will soon be introduced, bringing a new reality to his peaceful existence. The film contrasts Peyangki's traditional monastic life with the modern influences of technology.
