Synopsis
Ahuma uses his wooden scooter, known as a chukudu, to transport goods from his village to the Goma market. Each trip covers 20 kilometers, and he carries up to 500 kilos of produce, earning about €100 a month. The documentary follows him and other drivers on National Road 4, which lacks proper maintenance. At the Vatican transport company, staff struggle with heavy freight demands. Pastor Jules leads a church where people seek healing from illness and despair amid ongoing challenges in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
