Aki Ra grew up in Cambodia during the Khmer Rouge regime. As a child, he was trained to fight in a brutal war. Now an adult, he works to remove landmines from the Cambodian countryside. An estimated six million landmines remain, posing dangers to local communities. Aki Ra dedicates his life to making the land safe again. Directed by John Severson, "A Perfect Soldier" runs for 56 minutes and addresses the lasting impacts of war on a nation.
