Synopsis
Quebec City is on high alert as it prepares for the Summit of the Americas on April 20, 2001. A 4-kilometre fence isolates the Upper Town, where thirty-four heads of state will discuss the Free Trade Area of the Americas. Meanwhile, thousands gather for the People's Summit, with tens of thousands expected to march in protest. Six thousand police officers patrol the streets, creating a tense atmosphere. Shot in cinéma vérité style by seven Quebec filmmakers, the documentary captures the clash between protesters and political leaders.
