Synopsis
Hani Jawharieh filmed the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem, capturing the processional route known as the "Way of Suffering." The documentary reassembles footage shot by Jawharieh, who passed away before the project’s completion. It incorporates material from discarded film reels found at former Soviet cultural centers in Amman, Jordan. Literary and film scholar Nadia Yaqub provides commentary throughout the 21-minute film, offering context to the visual narrative.
