Tree Man

Synopsis

Francois sells Christmas trees on the streets of New York City, far from his wife and three children in Quebec. Living in a van, he spends a month in the city, bringing holiday cheer to his adopted neighborhood. He becomes a storyteller and a father figure to local residents, who rely on him for companionship. As the season progresses, Francois faces a personal conflict that threatens to change his life. A long-time customer notes, "This has nothing to do with the trees anymore.
