Synopsis

Tamar Manasseh stands at the forefront of community activism on the south side of Chicago. As a rabbi, she seeks to foster alliances between African Americans and Jews. Manasseh, who identifies as a Black Jew, aims to bridge gaps created by decades of fear and misunderstanding. Through her efforts, she encourages dialogue and collaboration between these two communities, working to build a more united future. The film runs for 89 minutes and was released in 2023.
