For three days and nights, Ben Fogle works aboard the trawler Rosebloom, catching and packing tons of North Sea haddock and cod.

Synopsis

Ben Fogle begins his experience as a North Sea fisherman in Peterhead, Scotland. He first joins skipper Sandy McLeman on the trawler Rosebloom, where he spends three days and nights fishing for haddock and cod. Fogle learns to catch, gut, and pack fish while battling sea-sickness. His second voyage takes him aboard the prawn trawler Pleiades. Finally, he meets John Alexander, who fishes for crabs. After an eight-hour shift, they return to Fraserburgh to offload their catch for Billingsgate Market in London.
