Synopsis

Samuel LeBlanc, a transgender musician from an Acadian village, reflects on the legacy of Angèle Arsenault, a notable Acadian artist who lived from 1943 to 2014. Throughout the documentary, LeBlanc questions the existence of a queer Acadie while sharing his experiences of being part of two minority groups. The film addresses themes of cultural identity, self-acceptance, and pride within the Acadian community. Directed by Julien Cadieux, it runs for 72 minutes.
