Synopsis
In Jaffa, several families faced eviction and took refuge in an abandoned building, squatting there for two years. The children who lived in this makeshift home experienced a mix of violence, poverty, and community support. They first appeared on screen in 1999 in Yael Kipper and Einat Fishbein's film The Two Yossi, which premiered at the first Docaviv Festival. The Three Yossi revisits these individuals over two decades later, questioning the future for children raised in such challenging circumstances.
