Synopsis

Lina, a seventy-year-old farmer from San Mauro, travels each morning to Porta Palazzo, Europe’s largest open-air market in Turin. There, she sells her strawberries, vegetables, and other produce. Despite her husband’s wishes for her to retire, Lina continues to work. One day at the market, she encounters Hassan, a young Moroccan immigrant seeking employment. Their meeting marks a significant moment in both their lives as they navigate the challenges of work and community.
