Synopsis
The Rajis, an isolated community in western Nepal, rely on fishing and gold dust collection for their livelihood. According to local legend, the goddess Kanyakumari blessed the Rajis by casting gold dust into the river, leading to the creation of the golden mahseer, a revered fish. Fakir Bahadur, the chief of Ghatgaon village, and his son embark on an expedition along the Karnali River in search of this mythical fish, intertwining their cultural heritage with the natural world.
