Synopsis
At the Roman temples of Niha in the Beqaa Valley, a gatekeeper manages the site’s historical significance. Nearby, a young mechanic from Britel repairs vehicles in a village known for automobile parts trading. An archaeological conservator at the American University of Beirut works to preserve Lebanon's rich heritage. The Drift connects these three individuals, revealing the changing economies of objects in contemporary Lebanon. The film runs for 51 minutes and was released in 2017.
