Synopsis
Dr Christos Tsirogiannis and Dr Vinnie Norskov investigate a series of vases from 45 crates of looted antiquities found in 2014 at Geneva Freeport. These crates, linked to antiquities dealer Robin Symes, contained tens of thousands of archaeological remnants valued at around £7 million. The vases, crafted in the 4th century BC by Apulian artisans, were buried for 2,500 years before being illicitly excavated. Their intricate designs depict scenes from the underworld, intertwining forensic analysis with mythological narratives.
