Synopsis

Tamia, a girl in Rotterdam-Zuid, dreams of becoming a spoken-word artist despite facing bullying. Selena, who wears braces and seeks family connection, often feels her father's love is clumsy. Darlin, born in Curaçao and raised in the Dominican Republic, aims to support his ill mother while avoiding a criminal record. Each faces unique challenges while growing up in their community.
