Synopsis
Women from the Gahaya Links cooperative gather in Rwanda to create handmade crafts as a means of healing from the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi. They work together to confront their past and promote reconciliation within their community. Through their efforts, they aim to empower one another and build a peaceful future. Directed by Rob Fruchtman, "Sweet Dreams" runs for 89 minutes and features dialogue in Kinyarwanda. The film addresses themes of healing and community in a nation recovering from trauma.
