Synopsis

Amidst the turmoil of World War Two, female pilots of the Air Transport Auxiliary (ATA) took to the skies to deliver aircraft to the Royal Air Force (RAF). "Spitfire Women" features interviews with the last surviving veterans, who share their experiences of flying under perilous conditions and confronting discrimination.
