Synopsis

Jerry McDonald Thundercloud and his colleague Sky navigate the steel beams of New York City as Mohawk ironworkers, known as 'sky walkers.' For over 120 years, these men have contributed to America's skyline while balancing their lives between Brooklyn lodging houses and their rural reservation, a six-hour drive north. During the week, they work high above the city, while their families face challenges at home, including the struggle to keep children away from illegal activities in an economically deprived area.
