Synopsis

John Diresta patrols the New York City Subway, a job he dislikes despite being named the Funniest Police Officer in New York. His aspirations as a stand-up comedian push him to seek a different path. Meanwhile, Jerry Howards lives in a tunnel between 2nd Avenue and East Broadway. He has not seen his family in five years, choosing not to visit them in Queens. The film captures the contrasting lives of these two men against the backdrop of the city's underground.
