Synopsis
Svetlana Anokhina, a Dagestani journalist, founded the Marem Group in 2020 to assist victims of domestic violence in the North Caucasus, Russia. After a raid by Chechen and Dagestani police forced the group to leave the country, Anokhina continued her work evacuating girls. The film follows these runaways through various stages of evacuation and rehabilitation in other countries. Members of the Marem Group face ongoing threats, making them potential runaways themselves.
