Synopsis

Alexey Vetrov, a political refugee from Russia, seeks asylum in Ukraine amid the oppressive policies of Moscow. Living without documents, he works and engages in civil actions. Nurkhan, a journalist who fled after covering the Osh massacre in Kyrgyzstan, also seeks refuge in Ukraine with her three teenage daughters. Their stories reflect the challenges faced by those escaping authoritarian regimes in search of safety and stability. The documentary runs for 35 minutes and was released in 2019.
