Synopsis

In Bedford Purlieus Wood, Cambridgeshire, an eagle-eyed forest ranger discovers remnants of Roman buildings emerging from the forest floor. Using advanced aerial visualizations, the Time Team, led by Tony, uncovers evidence of a complex of building foundations hidden within the woods. The team faces significant challenges during the dig, as the cramped woodland environment makes geophysical operations nearly impossible. They seek to determine the purpose of these structures and their historical significance, making this investigation one of the most demanding in the series.
