Synopsis

Cuban-American director Andy Señor Jr. returns to Cuba to stage a production of the musical RENT, originally created by Jonathan Larson. Set against the backdrop of Havana, the film highlights the vibrant artistic community that emerges in a country grappling with its cultural identity. Through interactions with local artists and his own family history, Señor navigates the complexities of his Cuban heritage while fostering a collaborative spirit among the cast and crew, ultimately bridging the gap between two worlds.
