Rose Mapendo, a mother from the Democratic Republic of Congo, lost everything during the civil war in the late 1990s. After a decade apart, she reunites with her daughter, Nangabire. Rose advocates for peace and helps others rebuild their lives. Yet, she faces a personal challenge: teaching her daughter to forgive the past. The documentary runs for 91 minutes and is directed by Beth Davenport.
