Mama Colonel

Synopsis

Colonel Honorine Munyole leads a small police unit in Kisangani, Congo. At forty-four, she is a widow and mother of seven. Her unit focuses on protecting women who have been raped and children who have suffered abuse. The office is in disrepair, and the local population faces deep trauma. Munyole confronts the challenges of a war-torn region, where envy exists among those with recognized victim status. Despite these difficulties, she advocates for the vulnerable and seeks justice in her community.
