Synopsis

Hamza and Walid, Palestinian queer activists, respond to the recent bombing of Gaza by planning to sabotage the Eurovision song contest in Jericho. They seek the assistance of queer novelist Jean Genet and Toronto's famous gay penguins, Buddy and Pedro, to amplify their message. The film documents fifteen years of queer activism, featuring interviews and operatic elements. It includes the group Queers Against Israeli Apartheid and critiques the weaponization of anti-Semitism while addressing themes of pride and homo-nationalism.
