Synopsis

Dabiliyan Alifu, an 11th-generation descendant of the Pakedavai ruler family, lives in a slate house in the Sandimen tribe, located between Mount Kavulungan and the Gaoping River. He learns from his family about life in the forest. Kang Yuan-Jin, a member of the 12th generation, grew up in a traditional Chinese community. He begins to understand family and personal identity as an adult. The documentary depicts their rituals and cultural heritage.
