Mateo Sobode Chiqueno lives in the Paraguayan Chaco region. He has recorded interviews, songs, and rituals of the Ayoreo people for over 40 years. Since the 1970s, these communities have faced displacement due to the actions of religious missionaries. The film presents Sobode Chiqueno's efforts to document and preserve the cultural heritage of his people. It was selected as Paraguay's entry for the 94th Academy Awards for Best International Feature Film and received awards at the Lunenburg Doc Fest and BYDGOSZCZ ART.DOC.
