Synopsis

In the Paraguayan Chaco, the Totobiegosode people face the threat of deforestation as their ancestral land, Chaidi, dwindles. Each month, 25,000 hectares of forest are lost, impacting their cultural heritage. Asoja, a bird-god, narrates the story of the Ayoreo Totobiegosode, who were displaced from their territory due to conflict. Eami blends documentary and fiction to depict their struggle to maintain a connection to the forest and preserve their identity amidst environmental challenges.
