Synopsis
Andrey Konchalovsky staged the opera "Eugene Onegin" at La Scala in Italy in 1987, marking his entry into the theater world after decades in film. Over nearly twenty years, he directed notable productions such as "The Queen of Spades" featuring Mirella Freni and Vladimir Atlantov, and "Miss Julie" at the Moscow Theater on Malaya Bronnaya. The documentary includes rehearsal footage and excerpts from his works, including "War and Peace" at the Mariinsky Theater and grand outdoor performances.
