Synopsis

Zacharia, a refugee from the Sudanese civil war, resides in Sydney with his wife and daughter. He aims to build a school for his former village in South Sudan. To raise funds, he embarks on a 40-day walk from Tweed Heads to Sydney, accompanied by supporter Janet and filmmaker Tom Zubrycki. As conflict escalates in South Sudan and personal relationships falter, Zacharia faces difficult choices about his future and the community he hopes to help.
