Kim Hak, a Cambodian photographer, reflects on his country's past and future. He starts his career using family photographs that his mother buried during the Khmer Rouge regime. These images, retrieved after the regime's fall, serve as a foundation for Hak's work. Over 127 minutes, the film presents Hak's vision of a new Cambodia, moving beyond stereotypes associated with its history.
