Synopsis
Bardak remains in a semi-deserted town by the Barents Sea, surrounded by empty buildings. Once a marine, he watches as his former comrades leave for better opportunities. Dima, a young poacher, breaks rules but helps lost tourists and reads to his daughter. Ferryman Alexander faces a silent struggle with his teenage daughter Masha, who dreams of life beyond their town. A weather station is managed by a woman, while a team of World War II ships arrives nearby.
