In the Big Empty, a barren area lacking water and filled with sand, a group of children struggles to survive. A young boy finds an ancient relic that hints at the lost beauty of winter. He leads his friends on a quest to rediscover the mountains that once flourished in their desolate environment. The narrative blends skiing with elements of myth and magic as the children seek to reconnect with their forgotten world. Directed by Ben Sturgulewski, "Ruin and Rose" runs for 65 minutes.
