Synopsis

On the Khodovarikha peninsula in the Nenets Autonomous District, a weather station operates in isolation at the edge of the Russian Arctic Ocean. The team includes a soldier turned meteorologist, his young wife, a cancer-stricken pensioner, and the station's head, who has a questionable past. They measure weather using basic tools, confronting their personal traumas and the challenges of life in a remote, unforgiving environment. Jack, a dog, completes this unconventional family unit.
