Synopsis

Das Quellgebiet des Essequibo gehört zu den letzten unerforschten Gebieten der Erde. In einer abenteuerlichen Expedition versucht das Filmteam per Boot in den Oberlauf und weiter bis ins Quellgebiet vorzudringen. Dabei begegnen sie riesigen schwarzen Kaimanen und zahlreichen anderen seltenen Tieren und erleben das Osterrodeo in Lethem.
