Synopsis
A jeans factory becomes a site of transformation with the arrival of a new worker. The narrative intertwines personal and collective histories with elements of fiction. Visuals combine found images and original photography, reproduced on acetate sheets, which are sewn together and projected onto a wall. This mixed-media work reflects on the repetitive nature of textile labor and the potential for resistance against difficult working conditions. The film runs for 11 minutes and was released in 2009.
